Establishing Effective Programs for ELLs
The challenge of meeting the needs of students that are not proficient in English are many. In order to have the most effective programs for ELLs (English Language Learners), self-reflection is needed. What are our district procedures for identifying and serving the students? Are these in compliance with state and federal regulations? Is our documentation for students complete and in compliance? Do we have an ESL program that is meeting the needs of the students? Do we have a bilingual program? One-way? Two-way? Are we using the most effective materials?
What about use of funds? Is assistance needed in completing the TItle III application?
Fees for services would be established after an initial consultation determining services.
